Dear friends of magic,

things are mov­ing for­ward at SOLIDMAGIC with great strides. Of course, everything takes time, because I am a “One Man Band”, which means I do EVERYTHING alone: cre­ation, pro­duc­tion, ship­ping, videos and web­site. So please bear with me.

AVALON Envelope

In this news­let­ter I would like to draw your atten­tion to a couple of new items. One is the new AVALON envel­ope. Over the years more and more magic lov­ers have asked for it and now I have made a new edi­tion with a much improved envelope.

The Express Card Trick

The other is my new Express Card Trick. It looks like real magic and I believe that there is cur­rently no more con­vin­cing way to make a freely chosen and signed play­ing card appear inside two envel­opes. Both envel­opes have view­ing win­dows and the back of the card is vis­ible from the start!

The prin­ciple can be used for any­thing where a flat object needs to be replaced. It is espe­cially suit­able in men­tal magic for a par­tic­u­larly con­vin­cing method of the “con­fab­u­la­tion effect”. The fol­ded slip of paper with the pre­dic­tion is vis­ible from the start in the view­ing win­dow envel­ope. I need say no more about it.

On 9 Septem­ber I will be a guest at the Fröh­lich Fest­ival in Bad Aus­see with my new lec­ture SUB ROSA. I am really look­ing for­ward to the lec­ture and hope to meet many of you there in per­son. SOLIDMAGIC has come back to life and the light­house has switched on its light. I have star­ted to make all my digital pub­lic­a­tions avail­able on the web­site. You can browse and down­load them.

A spe­cial high­light is the magiCam­pus on 19 August. It is a ZOOM live event with three sem­inars (Alex­an­der de Cova and Mark Els­don). Finally I can con­tinue the tra­di­tion of my pre­vi­ous magic symposia.

I will also be present with the SOLIDMAGIC stand at sev­eral con­ven­tions and of course I am look­ing for­ward to see­ing you at the stand:
