Cups and Balls Loading Sequence

There are two things that disturb me: the increasing number of performers doing Gazzo’s exact cups and balls routine; word for word, move for move, and bit for the bit. I mean — does it make sense? How difficult is it to create an original routine? Copying another man’s act exactly is poor, and, finally, leads into nothing. The other thing that bothers me is the way most performers do the final loads, utilising the pouch. In Gazzo’s routine, there are a lot of pouch loads. Ninety-nine percent of what I’ve seen didn’t fool me, and the loads were done that sloppy and without thought. I am convinced the laymen see that as well.
