MASTERCLASS Chop Cup
The Chop Cup can confidently be counted among the classics of magic. I think just about every magician who regularly performs close-up magic has added this fantastic trick to their repertoire and developed their own routine.
I first seriously encountered the Chop Cup when I started working for the Zauberzentrale Munich in 1982. Back then, the Ken Brooke routine for the Chop Cup was the ultimate, and through my work at the shop, the Chop Cup quickly became one of my favorite tricks. There are still two magic friends from "my era" who also grew up with the Ken Brooke Chop Cup. ;-).
Of course, since then, dozens of other routines and approaches have landed on my magic table, many of which I’ve tried out and drawn inspiration from. In this Masterclass, I’ll introduce you to the endless possibilities of the Chop Cup and share everything I know about it: history, props, grips, techniques, final loads, routine structure, and more.
This is likely the most comprehensive treatment of the Chop Cup ever published. I’ve taken great care to teach you techniques, tricks, subtleties, and ideas that go far beyond the usual. Your routine will stand out significantly from what you typically see.
Those who know me are aware that I always go into great detail and pack as much as possible into a lecture. This over two-hour Masterclass on the Chop Cup is packed with fascinating material. Since everything is presented so densely (it’s impossible to remember it all on the first viewing), you’ll receive a link to the session after the Masterclass. You can stream it whenever you want—and trust me, you’ll use this link often.
In this Masterclass, I also explain things I’ve kept to myself for many years and shared only with a few magic friends—things that were, so to speak, SUB ROSA, or what you might call an "Underground Session." Just as a Chop Cup routine should be part of every repertoire, there should finally be a resource that covers just about everything—and I’ve created that resource with this Masterclass.
Important Note:
For now, I’m conducting the live Masterclass only in German and English. However, I’m already working on adding subtitles in other languages to the video recording.
About the Order Process:
